Remember, this is only an example! The best method is to keep to keep track of wake, eat, and sleep times to figure out the best schedule for you. Once your baby wakes, be sure to watch the clock and have them sleeping again within 2.5 to 3.5 hours. Naps may vary from two to four naps per day.

A day with a 6- to 8-month old 6:30 am – Wake-up, feed 7:45 am – Breakfast, some solids if starting 8:30 am – Nap (about 1 hour) 10:00 am – Feed 11:30 am – Nap (typically 30-45 mins) 1:00 pm– Feed 2:00 pm – Nap (typically 30-45 mins) 4:00 pm – Feed 4:30 – Short nap (30 mins) 5:00 – Dinner 6:00 – Bedtime routine 6:30 – Feed, book, bed 7:00 – Goal to be asleep *possible night feed I talk about how to help set up your baby for sleep success within my book, Happy Sleeping Baby, which you can read more about or order here.
