This is a huge transition time for your little one. They will be growing and learning at a rapid pace, which leads to milestones and regressions. The best method when figuring out a schedule is to watch the clock and have them sleeping again within 1.5 to 2 hours.
This is only an example! The best method is to keep to keep track of wake, eat, and sleep times to figure out the best schedule for you. A day with a 3- to 6-month old 7:00 am – Wake and feed 7:30 am – “Play” 8:30 am – Nap 10:00 am – Feed, play 11:30 am – Nap 1:00 pm – Feed, play 3:00 pm– Nap 4:00 pm– Feed, play 5:30 – Short nap 6:30 – Dinner 7:30 – Begin “bedtime routine” 8:00 – Feed, book, bed 8:30 – Goal to be asleep + night feeds Need guidance to figure out your baby’s best routine?
